green tea halves ovarian cancer toll.

Studies have shown that drinking green tea can be healthy, but a new study shows that it can also halve the death rate in women that already have ovarian cancer. You can read all about it in this article from the West Australian. Curtin University researchers had previously shown that green tea can help prevent ovarian cancer and now they've shown that it can help women with ovarian cancer live longer.

We have previously shown that drinking green tea prevents ovarian cancer but this new research shows it can also increase survival in women with the cancer.

"Regular consumption slows down the growth of human cancer cells because the tea's potent antioxidants cause the cell cycle to stop. I recommend drinking at least one cup of green tea each day without adding milk or sugar.


This is great news for the millions that are afflicted from this type of cancer.
